How to find podcasts to be a guest on

Search podcast directories by topic

Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube let you search by keyword. Search your topic plus words like "interview" or "with" to find shows that invite guests.

Look at who peers have appeared on

Search the names of people in your field. The shows that interviewed them already want your kind of guest.

Use a matching platform

Platforms like Fit For Air match guests and hosts based on topics, goals and preferences on both sides, so you spend less time pitching shows that were never a fit.

Check each show before you pitch

• Is it still publishing? Look at the latest episode date.
• Does it run guest interviews, or mostly solo episodes?
• Does the audience match who you help?
• Is there a guest form or contact method?

Track your outreach

Keep a simple list of show, host, date contacted, status and follow-up date. One polite follow-up after a week is normal.
